Locally Sourced

Gwen and Ben are a picture-perfect suburban couple. Polite, progressive, and just trying to do things the right way. Sure, they’re vampires, but they shop ethically, avoid necromancy, and only feed on people who “won’t be missed.” When Ben surprises Gwen with a fresh, live human instead of their usual packaged blood, their dinner spirals into a tense and bizarre discussion about unity, civility, and their place in a divided society. But just as things begin to heat up, a pair of rogue vampire hunters crash the meal, revealing that their victim isn’t who they thought he was. Locally Sourced is a dark comedy-horror short that skewers performative allyship, “both-sides” rhetoric, and the contradictions beneath polished good intentions.
